Sh. Ranjeet Singh born on 21-12-1973 at Sihunta, District Chamba, H.P Passed matriculation from Government Senior Secondary School Sihunta District Chamba H.P in the year 1989,10+2 in the year 1991. Did Graduation from Government Post Graduate College Dharamshala, Distt. Kangra in the year 1994. Passed L.L.B from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in the year 1997. Started practising as an Advocate in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in the year 1997 and was appointed as sub Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Nahan, District Sirmour on 17th September, 2002 after undergoing training on selection for HPJS in the year 2002. Thereafter posted as Sub Judge-cum-JMIC in the court No. 3 Mandi, Chachiot at Gohar, District Mandi, H.P and at Manali, Distt. Kullu, H.P. Thereafter, posted as Civil Judge(Senior Division)-cum-Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court No. 1 Ghumarwain, District Bilaspur, H.P. from 20-05-2010 to 07-05-2013 and also as such in the Court No. 1 Sundernagar Distt. Mandi, H.P. from 17-05-2013 to 24-04-2014. On placement as Chief Judicial Magistrate was transferred and posted as Civil Judge (Senior Division)- cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lahul-Spiti at Kullu from 24.4.14 to 30.9.14. On transfer joined as Civil Judge (Senior Division)-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Una on 01.10.14. On transfer assumed the charge of Civil Judge (Senior Division)-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Shimla on 22.12.2014 till 24.12.2018. On transfer, assumed charge of Senior Civil Judge-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kangra at Dharamshala, H.P on 05.1.2019. On promotion assumed charge as Addl. District and Sessions Judge-III, Kangra Civil and Sessions Division at Dharamshala on 27.05.2019 and remained as such up till 01.12.2021. Remained posted as Addl District & Session Judge-II Una from 09.12.2021 to 29.03.2023.Thereafter on transfer joined as Addl District & Sessions Judge, Palampur, on 04.04.2023.
