Sh. Nitin Mittal

Born in Delhi on 3rd October 1981. Graduated in Commerce(Hons.) from Ramjas College of Delhi University and then obtained Bachelor of Laws degree from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council of Delhi in 2005 and practiced law in the District Courts of Delhi and Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. Worked as Additional District Attorney at Land Acquisition Office at Gurgaon, Haryana w.e.f November 2007 till selection in H.P Judicial Services upon qualifying HPJS Exam-2007. Upon completion of induction training at H.P. State Judicial Academy, Shimla, joined as Civil Judge-cum-JM at Solan on 14th May 2008. Served as Civil Judge-cum-JMFC at Sundernagar, Chopal and Chamba. After being promoted to the cadre of Senior Civil Judge-cum-ACJM in January, 2016, served as Secretary, DLSA at Chamba and then as Senior Civil Judge-cum-ACJM at Nurpur and Hamirpur. Upon placement as Chief Judicial Magistrate, joined as such at Bilaspur on 12.04.2023 and on transfer, joined as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kangra at Dharamshala on 16.04.2024.
