Ms. Shikha Lakhanpal

Born on 27th June 1985 in the family of Sh. Rattan Singh Thakur (Retd. District and Sessions Judge) and Smt. Deepika Thakur at Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Did her matriculation from D.A.V. Bilaspur, Bsc. (Medical) from R.K.M.V. Shimla and L.L.B. From Punjab University, Chandigarh. While doing L.L.M. from Punjab University she cleared Punjab Judicial Services, 2011. She did her induction training from Chandigarh Judicial Academy for seven months. In the meantime she completed L.L.M and also topped Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services, 2012. She joined Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services on 04.02.2013 and after completion of training got posted as Civil Judge-cum-JMFC Dharamshala on 07.08.2013. Thereafter, remained as Civil Judge-cum-JMFC at District Mandi and District Hamirpur. On promotion, joined and remained posted as Senior Civil Judge-cum- ACJM Kangra from 10.12.2021 to 28.03.2023.On transfer, assumed charge as Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Kangra at Dharamshala on 05.04.2023.
